SAM Organization for Rights and Liberties, a member of “The Justice 4 Yemen Pact " announces the launch of a solidarity campaign with the forcibly disappeared in the prisons of the parties to the conflict in Yemen on the 30th of August, which coincides with the International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances, under the hashtag #WhereAreThey. The campaign aims at local and international solidarity with the cases of the forcibly disappeared in Yemen and calls for revealing their fate and releasing them.

Our campaign will highlight the stories of the forcibly disappeared individuals and provide testimonies and vivid stories from individuals and families affected by the tragic circumstances of the forcibly disappeared. We shall also issue a statement on the most important potential prisons where enforced disappeared individuals are placed, the people involved in this crime, and the international community's calls for support and pressure for justice and an end to these heinous crimes.

The campaign will start on August 30th at 12 PM and end at 12 AM on August 31st. We hope this campaign will contribute to encouraging the concerned authorities to take immediate steps in resolving this file by identifying the missing, providing assistance and support to their families, and working to achieve transparency and accountability.

We invite the media and the public to join this important campaign, and we hope that our voice will be heard and felt in order to achieve positive change.
