The Community Reconciliation and Consensus Committee held a meeting today at the office of the Presidential Committee for the Evacuation and Handover of Governmental and Private Buildings, chaired by Advisor Abdu Farhan, to discuss joint efforts aimed at completing the handover of houses and private properties to their rightful owners, and closing files related to housing disputes that have remained unresolved since the outbreak of the war.
During the meeting, members of the Committee presented an overview of their role in community mediation and local dispute resolution, highlighting achievements in returning several homes over the past period, as well as a list of properties for which handover procedures are still underway.
Advisor Abdu Farhan commended the Committee’s field and community efforts, emphasizing that their work constitutes an important contribution to the Presidential Committee’s mission to uphold justice and build trust between citizens and official authorities. He also expressed the Presidential Committee’s readiness to fully cooperate with the Committee and facilitate its tasks in implementing eviction decisions and restoring rights to their owners.
