SAM Organization for Rights and Liberties stated that the Office of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor at the U.S. Department of State issued its annual report on the human rights situation in various countries around the world for the year 2023, including Yemen. The report, which spans 59 pages, highlights the patterns of violations committed by the parties to the conflict and their disregard for international law.

The report relied on local and international human rights sources, including Sam Organization for Rights and Liberties, for the second consecutive year.

The report is considered an official document that serves as a reference for describing the human rights situation in Yemen. It is also an authoritative source for various entities within the U.S. government, as well as many members of Congress and decision-makers in the United States.

First and foremost, we extend our sincere thanks to the fieldwork team. We are proud of the tremendous effort you have made in monitoring, following up, and documenting continuously. We also express our gratitude to all activists and collaborators who have worked with us, as well as the victims, survivors, and their families, for their trust and cooperation with the organization. We also acknowledge the contributions of local and international media outlets, who have helped us amplify the voices of the victims internally and externally at all levels.
