SAM Organization for Rights and Liberties called on the international community to hold the Houthi militia accountable for targeting of Al-Amal Hospital for Cancer Treatment, and Al-Thawra General Hospital, and bombing of the Al-Jumhouri Hospital in Taiz city.

The organization said that the deliberate targeting of hospitals and medical facilities in Taiz on Saturday 24th October 2020 in the city of Taiz is a "violation that amounts to war crimes."

According to the information received by the organization, two workers at Al-Amal Hospital for Cancer Treatment  were injured by anti-aircraft bullets, in addition to damage to the building, while the operations room of Al-Thawra General Hospital was targeted by anti-aircraft bullets, and several artillery shells fell in the vicinity of the Al-Jumhouri Hospital and one civilian was injured.
